Agents, Robots, and the Vibe-Coded Gold Rush
out now: warm-intro jobs inside
Friends!
The world is on fast-forward. Robots are rolling out, people are steering robotic arms with thoughts, and OpenAI just shipped plug-and-play agents. Crypto’s ripping, new products drop hourly, and my X.com feed is basically a scoreboard of wins. While I’m dictating this into AI, my robot vacuum is doing laps on its own. Life is wild—in the best way.
Non-technical founders are stacking serious revenue with “vibe-coded” apps—speed over ceremony, UX over frameworks.

Pulse + integrations make it obvious: they’re collapsing workflows into a single AI-first app.
Sam Altman told a16z they’re aiming for personalized AIs—not one model for all, but the one that knows you.
Agent Builder (no-code, real power)
OpenAI’s Agent Builder lets you spin up custom agents fast. It’s strong, but also a bit overhyped—iteration beats demo hype. Microsoft Copilot planted the seed; this is the next turn of the wheel. The MCP idea—connecting to “all the tools, all the AIs”—is the right direction.
Figure 03: the humanoid ramp-up
Sooner or later we’ll have hundreds of millions of general-purpose robots doing real work. Figure’s “03” intro makes the case: it already works surprisingly well.
But we are still early: price is high, and performance wants orders of magnitude more real-world data. The only path is shipping fleets, letting them learn in the wild—synthetic worlds won’t close the gap alone.

DoorDash “Dot”: autonomy goes curb-to-door

DoorDash announced Dot, an all-electric, last-mile robot built for sidewalks, bike lanes, and roads. ~20 mph, ~30 lb payload, secure compartment, basic voice + display.
Vision-first stack (cameras, radar, LiDAR, GPS), deep-learning navigation, and tight integration with their Autonomous Delivery Platform—so it can play nice with sidewalk bots and drones.
Translation: multi-modal delivery that actually routes intelligently.
